Electronic Resources

Electronic resources (e-resources) are materials in digital format which must be accessed on a computer device. Examples of e-resources are electronic journal (e-journal), electronic book (e-book), online database. There are numerous digital format and some of the common one are word document (.doc), powerpoint document (.ppt / .pps), Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), webpages (.htm, .html, .asp etc) and more.

The Library Proxy Service How to provided by the Library and Office of CIT enables access to e-resources remotely (i.e. from off-campus) anytime of the day.

Due to licensing agreement regulations, library e-resources can be accessed only by SMU faculty, students and staff.
