Recalls
All materials on loan are subject to recall.
Users may submit requests for recalls by placing holds via the Online Catalogue. You will be notified by email when the recalled item is ready for collection.
Similarly, if an item on loan to you has been recalled by another user, you will receive an email notification from the Customer Service Centre to return the item.
Shortened Loan Period for Borrower with Recalled Item
Items that are recalled from a borrower will have the due date reset to 21 days from the checkout date with the exception for items recalled specifically for transfer to the Course Reserve collection. For such items, the loan period will be shortened to 3 working days from the date of recall. Users will incur fines if they return the books after the revised due date.
IMPORTANT: Continuation of the existing loan privileges is dependent upon the timely response to recalls by all our users.
