The library will have a new search box on 17 August 2015. Here are 3 things to know about the new tool:
1. One search for everything
The new library search box provides a one-stop search for all books, journals, articles, theses and more. It also provides a good coverage of newspapers and journals, covering Business Times (Singapore), The Economist and the Wall Street Journal.
2. Fewer clicks
The new search interface has been customized to be clean and simple. You can carry out frequent tasks like checking availability and exporting and emailing citations quickly.
3. Personalized library account
Use your SMU account ID and password to check your loans, saved lists, saved query and even previous loans all in one account.
