One-Stop Services

The One-Stop Form provides a single interface where you can submit your requests to the library for any of following services:

Course Readings

  • Course Reserves
You may recommend textbooks used for your courses to be made available in the library for your students. Core texts are placed in the Course Reserve Collection for two-hour loan by students while supplementary texts in the Lending Collection for three-week loan.
  • Course Packs & Reading Lists
Course Packs are compilations of reading materials such as articles and/or book chapters which are made available to students either in hardcopies or electronically after the necessary copyright clearance has been obtained. Reading Lists comprise links to electronic resources in the library.

If you have a list of publications for course pack and reading list, please contact Course Support Service directly. In addition, you may refer to the FAQs for information on distributing your own materials in class.

Please note that the sponsorship from Lee Foundation on the usage of Ivey case studies in all three Universities in Singapore (NUS, NTU, SMU) will cease from 1st Aug 2008. Hence, from 1st Aug 2008, if you intend to use Ivey case studies in your course, you will need to ensure that the copyright fees have been paid. You may contact css@smu.edu.sg to prepare a course pack for your case studies. The cost of copyright fees and course pack will be borne by students.

Document/Material Delivery Service
The library provides free document/material delivery service to SMU faculty which includes request to obtain articles, books, working papers, dissertations, and so on. This service is restricted to materials that are related to work, teaching and research only .
