Find out what people are saying about your work
Altmetric watches social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Google+, blogs, mainstream media and publications like New York Times and The Guardian, for mentions of academic papers. If users have added the publication to their reference manager like Mendeley and CiteULike, Altmetric is able to track it. It is all done using doi or digital object identifiers and checking the Internet using public APIs.
