Kick-start 2023 with an AR.T exhibition, a panel discussion and three film screenings.

Altered States: Painting Myanmar in a Time of Transition is an exhibition bringing together art, technology and culture through artworks from Myanmar on loan to the SMU Art Collection.

Three of the artworks featured in the exhibition will be brought to life through augmented reality art (AR.T) experiences created by The MeshMinds Foundation. These experiences create an innovative, fun and engaging way to immerse in Myanmar culture. The exhibition will be accompanied by a panel discussion and a film programme curated by Asian Film Archive, and screened at Oldham Theatre.
