About the speaker
Janina joined Springer in 2017 where she started as an editorial project manager in the German Life Science team. Three years later she joined the Books Innovation team, and has worked with AI ever since. Janina is Business Owner of diverse AI-based services and products which she has developed and implemented in the Springer Nature Books division. Next to her work, she persued her PhD in Literature and Media Studies and graduated in 2022.
JAs Senior Manager for Books Publishing Solutions, Janina is responsible for AI-based products and services for authors. Her projects include Research Round-ups, Machine-generated reference books and AI-assisted translations, which she has been successfully driving forward since 2020. Thanks to her previous work in editorial, she attaches particular importance to the simple, efficient and secure handling of AI products for authors, editors, researchers and teachers during product development. As with all AI-based products and services at Springer Nature, the focus is on human-machine interaction.
