SMU Libraries are excited to share that new datasets, Datastream and Worldscope, are now available from your laptop!
These datasets are accessible through the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). It allows for seamless, flexible data access for users to tailor their research, including a web interface to research one or several hundred firms simultaneously.
Access the industry-leading analytical data that enables detailed exploration of relationships between data series; perform correlation and relationship analysis; test investment and trading ideas; and research countries, regions and sectors.
Datastream via WRDS
Datastream provides a comprehensive financial time-series database covering equity, constituent list, equity indices, commodities, futures, and exchange rate pricing data. This database also includes the most powerful global macroeconomics content with over 70+ years of history.

Worldscope offers international financial data using uniform definitions and standardized statement organization. It provides annual and interim/quarterly data, detailed historical financial statement content, per share data, calculated ratios, pricing, and textual information.
