Get a deeper understanding of plastic pollution by taking on the role of a debris collector in the Shore Seekers World.


Mission

Duration: 1 March - 31 March 2022, 11:59 PM

Your mission is to collect plastic fragments and stones littered on the shores of the Johor Straits. To complete your mission, you must score points by answering correctly the accompanying questions.

At the end of the game, we hope you will consider the complexities and impact of plastic pollution.

Each week *five lucky participants will win SGD 25 Scoop Wholefoods gift vouchers or a set of artist-made recycled plastic coasters.

*Participants need to collect at least 8 plastic fragments and four stones (plastiglomerates) to be eligible for the lucky draw.

How to play

Move around Punggol Beach and Pendas River to hunt for microplastics, which are tiny plastic particles. There are 10 in total.

Once you find a microplastic, you’ll be quizzed on the plastic pollution crisis—the answers might surprise you!

Read the clues to find hidden plastiglomerates, which are stones made from a combination of sediments, natural debris and hardened molten plastic.
