SMU Libraries are thrilled to announce the Generate Your L(AI)brary Hackathon!
This hackathon is open to all SMU students (UG & PG) and admin staff.
Date: Saturday, 26 August 2023 to Sunday, 27 August 2023
Location: Li Ka Shing Library, Level 5, Quiet Area
Prizes: SGD 7,000 worth of prizes
To facilitate participants in their exploration and experimentation, each participating team will receive sponsorship of up to USD 50 worth of OpenAI's API tokens (with access to GPT-4!) for the entire duration of the hackathon.
Generate Your L(AI)brary Hackathon will be a 2-day event where you can leverage on OpenAI models (GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Dall-E2, etc.) to craft creative and innovative applications centring around the theme of "refining library and research experience".
Whether you possess a knack for coding, design, data analysis, or simply have a passion for transforming the library, research and learning experience, this event is open to all individuals willing to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas.
