This year’s Mental Health Week (MHW), “Empowered to Thrive, Strength in Every Step”, is a reminder that life comes in seasons. Some seasons call on us to push ourselves, others to slow down and care for our health, and still others to lean on the people around us. By finding balance and adapting as our seasons change, we can grow stronger together and learn not just to bounce back but to thrive.
SMU Libraries, in support of MHW 2025, invite you to explore intellectual resilience - one of the six interconnected dimensions of resilience in the SMU Resilience Framework. Whether you’re wrestling with a tricky assignment, navigating the maze of academic integrity, or just needing a boost to keep your mindset fresh, you’ll find handpicked books, articles, podcasts, videos, courses, and inspiration here!
Visit our book display at Level 2, Li Ka Shing Library and pick up a read before 12 November 2025.
Oh, and one more thing 😉
Don’t miss our special pop-up at the MHW Intellectual Resilience Booth from 22 to 24 October - a Cosy Reading Corner just for you, a read, your thoughts, and a comfy spot.
