Expanded Quiet Study Areas
Please also be reminded that the SMU Libraries are expanding the quiet study areas during the same period.
What to Expect:
- Quiet Study Areas have been expanded from their original dedicated areas to ALL levels (excluding *Learning Commons & Graduate Lounge 1 in Li Ka Shing Library).
- Please keep the noise levels to a minimum in all Quiet Study Areas during this period.
- *Any form of discussion should be limited to the Learning Commons. Group/collaborative work within this designated area is highly encouraged to be of lower volume .
We care about minimising disruptions during your focused work sessions and promoting a noise-conscious culture where respect for others within the library grounds is upheld. We hope that through this initiative, noise concerns will be moderated to everyone's benefit.
The Learning Commons at Li Ka Shing Library and Kwa Geok Choo Law Library are open 24/7.
