SMU Libraries Curate: Sustainable Living

Sustainability, sustainable living, and sustainable research are more than just buzz words. The United Nations defined sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” The Singapore government has identified its vision for sustainability with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a whole-of-nation sustainable development agenda. In alignment, SMU has also defined Sustainable Living as a key strategic priority for Vision 2025 focussing on “climate change and sustainable city living, enhancing quality of life.”

For the month of April, SMU Libraries present a series of articles, videos and podcasts and ebooks to learn more about research and emerging issues in this field.
